Game Update #66 Scars of the Awakened April 30, 2013

Speak to Osh at 4367, -1042, 1987 Copy in Cobalt Scar to begin this quest.

1. Speak to Merrik.
2. Speak to Nika. She will offer the quest A Solemn Request.
3. Return to Osh and take the portal to Great Divide.
4. Speak to Diu in Fina's Retreat.
5. Grab 5 offerings from the Shrine of Prexus at -1625, -533, -2360 Copy . These are objects such as lanterns or candles.
6. Use the portal at -1471, -514, -2253 Copy to travel to Eastern Wastes.
• Make sure you do Nika's quest, A Solemn Request, while you're here.
7. Speak to High Shaman Lien in his cave in Nipik's Haven.
8. Let Lien know when you are ready to return to Cobalt Scar.
9. Speak to Osh, who is back near Yeppa at 4260, -1095, 2050 Copy .
10. Wait for him to create the altar, then speak to him again to receive a blessing.
11. Return to the tunnel and destroy the three bone barriers. For each barrier there is a nearby risen shaman apprentice (usually in a room on a side-path) that you have to kill to allow the barrier to be attacked.
• as of 5/2/13, Bone barriers do not update correctly for group members! Do this solo to complete it.
12. Kill Salton (98^^).
1. If you die, be sure to speak to Osh again to receive another blessing which dramatically increases your stats, making Salton soloable.
2. When Salton chews up a body, he will emote. Joust out at this point. He will refill his health to 100%, but have a lower overall health.
3. Wait until after the message about a red burst exploding around Salton before engaging him in combat again. Getting hit by this AoE will do massive damage (~50-121k).
13. Return to Osh to complete the quest.
