eq2 quest:Griffon Feathers  

This quest is initiated by examining a Griffon Feather. This item is dropped on monsters in The Thundering Steppes (accursed rock heaps and griffons confirmed).

You must collect 5 auto-updating feathers from any kind of griffon in the zone. It's reported that no you longer have to kill one of each kind of griffon.

After you have all five you will receive your reward.
