I was just in there with another character and there weren't any Grims at all.

Go west to the mountains, then North almost to the sea. A little to the east is the entrance to a camp (Talvi-mûri: 13.2N, 79.3W). Head south into there. Fight your way through some (50) Gelid Grims. Watch yourself while fighting. There are some patrols that like to join in.
