Patch 1.19 will see the implementation of two long-awaited series mainstays: chocobos and airships!

I don't know if its just me, but watching that video when the music started did anyone else expect to see 7 chocobos with riders on them? lol.

The only thing I didn't like about the chocobo's was the summoning animation, was once it was summoned it seemed to just appear underneath you with you on it. I prefere the way AOC did the animation of the horse running up to you and you actually climbing onto it.

Regarding the cost to ride an airship:

"The fare will vary depending on your highest level."

What a load of dog squeeze! The cost to ride an airship should be universal for every passenger. The distance traveled is the same and the amount of time saved is identical, so why should a level 10 passenger and a level 50 passenger pay different rates?! I'm glad to have the airship implemented, and this isn't going to stop ANYONE from using them... but there is absolutely zero logic behind this decision, and I hope SE fixes this progressive, Marxist system.

Wouldn't call it marxist...

A person that does great things for nations will often get a discount, if not completely comped. The more fame one has (from a local hero to a civil servant to someone of presidential level), the more likely you are to be treated accordingly (in both senses of the word).

Smiley: grin this will be super awesome everyone! Chocobos have been a MUST HAVE in every Final Fantasy and now they are finally here! get your chocobo riding gear ready and saddle up everyone its time to ride like the wind~
on the topic of airships, i wish it was a longer ride but they say they are going to change it so you can enjoy the ride later on ^^ so ill live while i wait hehe. :D im so glad about these two things that scream "final fantasy" its awesome. :D
