Ah. Reminds me. The last batch we bottled should be drinkable this weekend. It's a delicious Red (ok, technically an Amber, whatever), with an infused coffee flavor. In the past, we've gone with a very mild coffee flavor, which works well, but is almost lost as the beer mellows. This time we went a bit stronger (hopefully not too much though). Went with a more bitter hop too. We'll see how it comes out.
Also working up a new creation. Could be great. Could be disastrous. It's our breakfast beer. Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal Stout. We're seriously trying to make it taste like a cinnamon raisin bread. I'm thinking we fail miserably, but who knows. Making beer is fun and cheap. And you get beer! What could possibly go wrong?
