Considering the problems I'm having trying to parkour in Titanfall I may have to switch to a controller.

Playing MOAR Hearthstone. Made a Hunter facerush deck to get my daily quests in. Man, it's so cheap and easy to play. There are about zero decisions you ever have to make. I hate coming up against them, too. There's almost no interaction between you and the other player.

Well in Hearthstone, the bigger your wallet the better you are.

That's true of just about any CCG, is it not?

Not really, a big wallet is definitely required in Magic if you want to compete in tournaments but the game is complex enough that good cards don't mean **** if you don't know how to play the meta game and your deck very well.

I think HS would be more enjoyable if it took overall deck quality into consideration when matching with opponents.

Arena can be really fun, though.

Nah, it's more about how intelligent you are and how lucky you are when you do open packs. Also Arena.

I mean, I fully agree that intelligence/skill is a big factor... but how big your wallet is pretty directly addresses the luck issue. Luck matters a lot more when you can't buy 50 boosters.

I am not liking this 100 gold per day earn limit. It should be 150 per day, or better yet, 1050 per week so people who can't play every day aren't penalized as much. That would allow you to earn an Arena entry every day.

It's pretty much guaranteed in any collectible card game that money is going to be a limiting factor. Although MtG is holding draft grand prix where a little luck and a lot of skill are all it takes.

I started playing a new game of DA:O this weekend Smiley: laugh I was in kind of an "eh" mood and figured DA:O is always good for a solid enjoyable ride. Installed some graphic mods which prettied it up a bit and ran with it.

I'll spare you further commentary aside from noting that I killed Zevran upon meeting him this game because f--- that guy.

My weekend game was again....Don't Starve.

It's a sickness really.

My guy(gal) dies stupidly and tragically after many cold nights eating raw rabbit hinds and running from rabid hounds. When the moment of death finally comes I say silently to myself "yay, I'm free of this game now. I can play something normal and not twisted".

The next time I sit down for some gaming, my mouse hovers around over all the cool icons for various games but then like the ouija planchette, of it's own free will, it slides to the Don't Starve icon and double clicks.

I sucked enough at Don't Starve that it failed to get deep hooks into me. "Oh hey, I'm dead after twenty minutes. Guess I'll do something else now."

I'm glad that you like this game as much as I do. Haven't played it in awhile, but when I first got it - it pretty much stole all my game time (even though I got it pre actual release it was still horribly addictive)

Unlike Joph, being terrible at it to start didn't deter me.

Played a bit of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Haven't done Act V yet, but I'm enjoying the Crusader class. It's basically what I tried to get out of the Barbarian when I started, since I love sword & board characters.

Hearthstone, I'm going to try to get to Legend rank with my cheap Hunter rush deck. I was up to rank 7, but had a bad losing stretch and am a loss away from being back down to rank 9.

Completed the RoS campaign. The writing is definitely better than vanilla D3, and I liked the setup for future games/expansions, though a not-insignificant part of me is certain they'll **** it up.

I thought that they wrapped up the follower storylines way too quickly, considering how long they were drawn out in the original game. They were probably the best-written characters of vanilla D3, and to have pretty much the only redeeming stories from the initial game wrapped up so quickly was a bit disappointing. Similarly, while the act felt a bit on the long side, I thought they had enough story material to stretch it to two acts. I think it would have better established the main villain, and they could have delayed a particular fight a bit more, especially considering the implications. Of course, only a fool would play Diablo for the story, I guess.

If you played on the PC, you should revisit the core game and see how you like it now. They just put through a major content patch that changes a lot.

If they had put out this gameplay experience at launch, it would definitely not have been panned as hard as it was, that's for sure. There's still a bunch of stuff that I wish were different, but I've definitely gotten my money's value out of the game.

Just hit 62 on a Hardcore Crusader. I'm scared to bump up the difficulty to Torment. I think I'm going to grind to 70 on Master or even Expert, and try to get a bunch of Paragon levels before trying it. I should probably start work on a backup character, too.

Edit: Might have just lost my HC character. Heaven's Fury wouldn't fire off, so I paused at about 50% health to wait it out. Then my internet connection went out and now I'm scared to log back in and find out. Smiley: lol

I played just last weekend for the first time since vanilla and it's really fun now. But now that there's a level 70 cap with the expansion (which everyone I know bought immediately, despite hating the way they made d3 and quitting after 1pt) there isn't much point in grinding out level 60 loot, right? Maybe I'm missing something I can do that would be worth while, because I do want to continue playing vanilla.

I got more hrs and fun out of torchlight 2 and poe for a lot less money, I have a hard time further rewarding activision for their terrible moneygrab version of d3.

Picked up the HD remake of FFX/X-2 and it's gorgeous. Completely redone menus, re-rendered textures in many places, and it even seems like they re-rendered the movies at 720p. I'm about to hit the boat to Luca.

I went to pick up my Al Bhed dictionary, and discovered that since all my saved games were on the PS2 collecting dust in the attic, I had none stored. DOH! Time to learn ruf du cbayg drec tisp myhkiyka ymm ujan ykyeh.

I'm really hoping they give XII the same treatment someday.

If they do XII, I hope they add the option to change the X Axis camera controls. I love playing it, but the left/right camera screws me up all the time. And I'm sure they'll release the Zodiac/International version if they do, since they've done the International Releases for everything else.

I fired up X/X2 HD this morning, and played X for a bit (not long, had to go eat with the Parents since I'm finally home after 3 months of being away).

From what I read, they upscaled the movies, and then cropped them to fit 720 resolution.
