As an aside, it's nice to see WoW players retained their objectivitiy when it comes to small-ish bugs and annoyances.
Well, to be fair, I don't count being wholly unable to do entire leveling dungeons as "small-ish bugs".
And it isn't isolated to just a few dungeons, either. I've seen reports of rares (especially Warscouts) being nearly impossible to solo when they were easily solo'd before.
They spent months going "If you can do it now, you can do it after squish!" (pp)
And that just isn't panning out very well.
I think this, combined with other LOL-worthy stuff (580+ hunters struggling to keep up with 540 casters on DPS meters, lolwut?) really makes it hard for people to have patience with Blizz as some of this stuff has gone through two testing cycles (Beta
and PTR) and still somehow made it to Live.
I think it is yet again another "Maybe we bit off more than we can chew" from the WoW Devs where they start with huge ideas and then take a scalpel to it and then end up releasing a mess on patch day when they couldn't handle what they didn't scrape off prior to PTR.
They knew Stat Squish was going to be a thing, they knew they wanted to make a standardized growth by level system...
before 5.0. They should have had a small team designing these numbers and going through rigorous testing
during the entire expansion instead of deciding to start it sometime around the 5.4.x release. That way, it would have been ready-to-go before 5.4 even came out.
They knew the 0-85 numbers they wanted before MoP even came out, because they tried to pitch the Stat Squish to us before. They shoulda been on this two years+ ago.
