Question on hardwareFollow

I was an avid player through the Lich King release. Since then I've left the game. So a bit ago I decided to return. I play on a Mac and as it happens my OS and system are old enough that I can't play the current release. I need to use a Mac and Apple decided to discontinue their 17" Macbook Pros so I'm exploring the used market.

Have any of you experience playing the current release on a Macbook Pro with the 2.5Ghz Quad core I7 and the ADM HD 6770m 1 Gig graphics card? If so how well do things run? That is the highest performance 17" Macbook that apple made before they discontinued the 17" laptop.

Before you ask a 15" laptop does not meet my development needs. Since Apple discontinued the 17" series their prices have remained quite high on the used market, I don't want to spend $2500 for a used laptop only to discover that Wow won't run reasonably well on it.
