Totem of Yor Quest--Help Please!Follow

Okay quick question...I got the totem quest and got down to the Yor totem before I hit a rough patch. I spent too much time dilly dallying and my serpent swimming ability ran out before I got to the totem. I must have passed over it fifty times trying to activate it, but to no avail. Now I can't figure out how to reset the quest. Do I need to go back to the original totem and start over? I went back to the second totem and tried to get the Ancestor guy to give me the serpent ability again, but he did not reappear. What do I do? Please Help...Thanks!

It would be great if I could just "click" on it! However, because I lost my serpent swimming ability you can't. When I am standing right on top of it, it is grayed out and won't let me "just click on it". I assumed this was because I didn't have the serpent swimming ability. I know that you are supposed to follow the spirits, how else would I have gottent his far. it seems now that I am stuck int he middle of the quest and A)cannot figure out how to reset it and B) cannot figure out how to click on the damn Yor totem when it is grayed out. I tried for like 30 minutes

I had the same problem, what I did was abandon the quest and go back and get it again, this time however you don't get to serpent swim. Just go to where the totem is and swim down, you have tons of time. Click on the totem and swim out of the water, you can now enjoy following your new buddy in cat form with a really cool invis effect.

I would guess that you don't even have to abandon the quest - just swim down to the totem and click on it. It is gray because you are too far away from it to activate it. If the quest was 'failed' then you wouldn't even see a gray thingie when you cursor over it.

Ahh, 2007 was a good year. I had sex and whisky for the first time that year. At the same time.

Alas, now I just have the memories and a lot of empty bottles.
