Weekend Update

1. Continue to work to cap poetics, I'll keep 1300 in the bank for machinist weapon, purchase off the last 700 for the next two weeks, but the goal right now is to have 2000 soldiery and poetics by heavensward. Think I'm at 1250 poetics and 2k soldiery at the moment, so I'm on target to meet this goal.
2. Keep farming the coil... Got blm and tank ring from T10, so I'm done there, got caster belt last night from T11, so with the exception of bard ring from t12, the only things I could really use at the moment sit in t13.
3. I'll try to pvp with the white mage if I get a chance. That is really fun.
1-3. Capped Saturday morning... mostly farming T10-T12. Still haven't found a good T13 group like when I picked up the clear. The T13 farm groups elude me and don't ever seem to be on when I am on. I did get some good T13 experience on warrior though, got to add phase as OT, and beat T12 for the first time on warrior as well. Had a good time with that. I'm now at 1500 poetics. I'll have to buy a ring or something because I will cap next week. I have a lot of encrypted tomestones now (8) and carboncoats (7) but I still only have 4 twines. But, I've been getting a decent supply of coil gear so my ilvls have been going up decently on my alts lately without having to spend poetics, but its really all I have left to do until the expansion drops.
Looking into the FC alliance feature that will be up in 3.0. The founding members of our FC had quit the game, then came back, joined us, and then decided to branch off to start their own FC over the weekend, which will be more focused on exclusivity and hardcore raid content. Our existing FC is mainly casual, so we find that the hardcore group tends to catch up and pass us by fairly quick, and move on to more challenging content. I'm in between, I like hanging in my casual stress and pressure free FC environment while guest starring in other FC's hardcore raid groups. Best of both worlds imo. So for now, linkshells and alliances are the way to go for keeping up with my old friends in the future. I like that this game gives you many options to keep connected with your friends regardless of their progression.
