Patch Notes are up!

Intrigued by the new Zodiac quest and they have reduced numbers of HQ items for specs - finally will MC Demimateria come down in price?!

Probably a fair bit, but I would say that the drop in price from a higher quantity of MCs will be related moreso to those who leveled Blacksmith Desynthesis to break down artisan tools than people spamming Artisan Spectacles. Yeah, you'll be able to get spectacles faster, but tools always had a much higher chance of converting to Mastercraft, and could give as many as three at a time.

So a huge deal right there, dropping the needed items by as much as 80% and all.

Perhaps that was intentional. Spicy Tomato Relish (and I presume Spirits of Salt as well) was much easier to make than the other items. For the mainhand tools, Spicy Tomato Relish and Spirits of Salt now requires 2 to 2.5 times as much as the other items (i.e. 20 instead of 10 or 8). For Spectacles, 2 to 2.5 other items would put Spicy Tomato Relish and Spirits of Salt at 10, which is the amount already required before the patch. In other words, perhaps they decided those two cases were already properly aligned with the new lowered price of the other purchases. It didn't need to be discounted further because it was already a bargain to begin with.

Yea I thought that might be the case... I was working on culinary just to do spicy tomato relish myself...
Anyway this is good. I was getting to this point.

I'm going to admit that since I play MNK, I'm a bit jealous that DRG doesn't need to run around as much.

I'm quite happy with the DRG buffs, though the timer changes will play with my rotation a little.

I'm thinking an adjustment to my timer displays too, keep my off-gdcs easily visible so I can keep up. It's definitely going to take some adjustments, but I can tell the increase already. This was a pretty substantial buff. I'm happy.

From reading the notes, it seems that NIN didn't get affected nearly as much as most people feared.
