'You have returned at a most opportune time, $PLAYER$. Our scouts tell of a great, armoured troll who walks among his kindred which maintain the siege-weapons of the army at Dol Dinen. They believe he is their captain.
'Trolls, as a rule, are not very smart, but there are those among them with a much greater wit, and these are the most dangerous. If we can destroy this troll, it may throw his brethren into disarray. That will be your task.
'The scouts reported that the great beast retreated deep into Dol Dinen, within the shadow of the mountain overlooking the valley. You must not enter that place without many friends, for the danger is too great.'
Background
A large, armoured troll has been seen walking amongst the siege weapons overlooking the approach to the hills in the southernmost reaches of Dol Dinen. The Ranger Hithlim believes that this great brute leads the trolls who maintain the siege-weapons at Dol Dinen.
