Why are Hobbits such good cooks?

Dear Hungry,
Hobbits aren't the only good cooks in Middle Earth, we just really love to eat! And, you can never trust a cook who doesn't eat his own food, now can you My Darlings? But seriously, there are many other great cooks besides Hobbits. Anyone in Middle Earth can be a good cook, if you just put your mind to it! I know many Elves and Men, and even Dwarves who can cook wonderful, tasty food. For instance, an Elf friend of mine recently made me some Fried Mushrooms. Another fellow of mine made me Superior Coney Pie just yesterday for my Second-Breakfast. Being a good cook does take a lot of practice though, and just like everything else, you have to start small and let your talents grow. So, next time you are hungry, make sure to ask your friends if they can make you some yummy food. You might be surprised at just how capable they are!
