Ered Luin will receive a major revamp in the November Update.

Lauren "Budgeford" Salk has written an interesting developer diary entry explaining how the new player experience in Ered Luin will change in Lord of the Rings Online's November Update. Here are the main points Salk covered:

• The Elf and Dwarf storylines have been completely updated.
• The ending raid has been revamped with new art and animations.
• The art in the entire zone has received a makeover, including Thorin’s Gate and the Dourhands.
• The biggest change is to the quest flow, which has been made more efficient. Players should no longer have to complete quests that make them run back-and-forth.
