Starting a new character in Middle Earth is a daunting task, fraught with danger and difficulties, but there is help. Each new character receives a Gift Pack<s> in the mail shortly after completing the Introductory quests and reaching their first real town, or when they reach level 5. Each box, when opened, will give you a number of potions and other items that will help you in your journey, plus another box that you cannot open until you reach the Minimum Level for the new box.

Gift for a Master<s>30 The quests started by the four letters are simply guides to make sure you find Oatbarton in The Shire, Barachen's Camp in the Trollshaws, Tinnudir in Evendim and Esteldin in the North Downs, where you should find many quests appropriate to your new level. Each rewards you with 10 Turbine Points but no items or XP.
Gift for a Hero40 The quests started by the four letters are simply guides to make sure you find Echad Candelleth in the Trollshaws, Aughaire in Angmar, Gloin's Camp in the Misty Mountains and Kauppa-köti in Forochel, where you should find many quests appropriate to your new level. Each rewards you with 10 Turbine Points but no items or XP.
