Let's call him Charles.

Charles led an eventful life. He was a member of an "Chartered" group of riders. Once upon a time.

He did bad things. He ran guns. He ran drugs. He set up people to get hurt. He did hard time.

He got his shit together and found a foundation to set his life to right. (Yes it was a a Jesus thing).

I worked with Charles for 11 years. He was an big biker-lookin' dude. He had a heart to bring people together.

A week ago Friday he was found in his home unconscious. He had a heart attack in the ambulance and another one in ER.

He never regained consciousness.

Four days later, an EEG showed no brain activity. Two days after that, the family unplugged all life support.

He lived for 5 more days, because Charles is stubborn like that.

I'm a wreck right now.

This is my tribute.

Don't cry because it's over, be happy that it happened.

Also Bill Irwin, who is currently Cary in Legion. Smiley: schooled

Honestly, I feel the only time you should be sad that someone dies is if it doesn't make you sad.
