It won't be. Trump will fire him and the GOP will find a way to say "No, that's fine. In fact, it's totally what should have happened."

Sessions does seem like the obvious choice, but I'm going with Scaramucci on the death pool.

The House just voted 419-3 on legislation to greatly curtail Trump's ability to lift sanctions on Russia.

So the play is he either signs it and he endorses legislation meant to rein in his ability to deal diplomatically and basically embarrass him, or tries to veto it and appear like he's trying to defend Russia and it gets overridden and made law anyway and it's still basically an embarrassment?

The smart play would be to sign and spin it to sound like it's to curb future administrations.

Welp, there went any hope of that. Instead he's going to distract from it by kicking out something like 10,000 soldiers from the military. The LGBAlphabets should be laying down years worth of lawsuits over the administration's decision to block and remove transgender soldiers soon enough.

I'm sure my office will see protesting over this in the next few days. That should help get what little work we do get done. Smiley: thumbsup

Good thing Bernie or Bust supporters didn't support LGBT in the military or the Paris climate change agreement.

I'm just going to give numbers to all the local congresscritters and let them deal with it.

My favorite part is how he said he discussed this with Generals and the military, because you'd think if that were true we'd at a recruiting office would have some kind of idea of what the hell was going on.

It was a Colonel. Like many older people he tends to wander off late at night and they've found him down the block yelling at the KFC sign a couple of times.

Real talk though, I don't care much either way on the issue. The luxury of it not really affecting me. I'm all for letting people who want to volunteer to do risky things for my benefit do so, but would probably think twice about giving a loaded weapon to someone who had a condition (or whatever the PC term is) which had a 45% attempted suicide rate.

Pretty sure dentists were the ones with a 45% homicide rate, or at least I'd imagine as much given the nature of the profession.

The biggest complaint so far is having to do all of that training for possibly no reason.

Of course, the suicide rate would probably be a lot lower if you didn't have to live your life worrying about being attacked for using the "wrong" bathroom or getting kicked out of your job on a whim.

Or weren't mentally unstable to begin with. But, chicken or the egg situation there.

This Anthony Scaramucci guys seems nice.
Quote:
“Reince is a ******* paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” Scaramucci said. He channelled Priebus as he spoke: “ ‘Oh, Bill Shine is coming in. Let me leak the ******* thing and see if I can ****-block these people the way I ****-blocked Scaramucci for six months.’ ” (Priebus did not respond to a request for comment.)

Quote:
Scaramucci also told me that, unlike other senior officials, he had no interest in media attention. “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own ****,” he said, speaking of Trump’s chief strategist. “I’m not trying to build my own brand off the ******* strength of the President. I’m here to serve the country.” (Bannon declined to comment.)

My favorite parts are the notes indicating that Priebus and Bannon declined to comment. Smiley: lol

Seems easily testable. Stop treating people as second-class freaks and see what happens to the suicide rate.

"Chicken and egg" refers to a situation where you can't tell which is "first" because one begets the other. But no one is calling transgender people freaks or banning them because they're suicidal.

I am not sure why, but like the guy. I know he is an ********* quite possibly bigger than Trump. He is also slick in a way slugs are slick. But I dunno.. there is something disarmingly charming about him. I watched him handle reporters and it was quite amazing. Some of the cheesier approaches I would not dream of trying seem to work for him.

Now the only question is what it is that he wants to get out of this gig, cuz it is clearly not advancing Ts agenda.
