'You have made quite the name for yourself, name. Word of your exploits have reached me even here. Indeed, I am surprised that you have returned to the Bree-fields. Still, perhaps you can assist me again.

'I have received word from one of my kinsmen in the Lone-lands who tells of troubles in Agamaur, the Red Swamp. There is rumour that a Gaunt-lord, a dire creature in the service of Angmar, is raising an army of wights there and has stirred an ancient evil. My kinsman has asked me to intervene, but I cannot leave these wretched fields. Would you go in my stead?

'In the north of Agamaur, far to the east of Bree-land, are ruins called Garth Agarwen. I would search there for Ivar the Blood-hand. If you find him and defeat him, bring his helm to me.'

Background

Word has come to Saeradan in the Bree-fields of an ancient evil, the Gaunt-lord Ivar, called the Blood-hand, who is raising an army of wights in Agamaur.

Objectives

Objective 1
Collect Ivar's Helm (0/1)

Ivar may be found in Garth Agarwen in the north of Agamaur, far to the east of Bree-land.

Saeradan, left alone to protect the Bree-fields, is unable to answer his kinsman's call to seek out and destroy Ivar the Bloodhand. He has asked you to go in his stead and to bring him Ivar's helm.

Objective 2
Deliver Ivar's Helm to Saeradan

You must complete these quest in order to get this quest:

Cutting off the Hand




Destroy the Despaired Banner-wight & Wrathful Banner-wight, before attacking Ivar the Blood-hand, both these mobs heal and buff him, making it hard to kill him.

Ivar the Blood-hand will also summon two Summoned Servant's and a Fell Wight to defend him.

If you get into trouble, just go back down past the entrance a little, it will reset Ivar.



The Barrows Gate Key is no longer needed to get into this area.
