A Well-Ordered Mind
"Dorset Oakes, the son of a Lore-master now dead, seeks the knowledge contained in his father's old library and is prepared to hunt for the pages to the catalog his father had written, however, goblins have been digging in the caves near the library and may soon break through...."
Dorset Oakes has shown you into the cave that once served as his father's library.
Objective 1
This cave was once the library of the great Benton Oakes, and its main room is full of bookshelves.
Dorset Oakes is waiting for you to find the bookshelf that contains "On the Hardiness of Animals in the Wilderness".
Objective 2
Dorset Oakes is at the entrance of the cave.
Dorset is waiting for you to return with the book he asked for.
Map of the library and location of the bookshelf
If you kill goblins and bandits before going into the library, you will get two more pages of notes, pages 1 and 2. Reading these plus page 3 that you receive from Dorset, you will find out the layout of the library, and what books are placed where. The book you need to find for Dorset is not listed, so you need to figure out by inference that it is located in B9. Straight ahead from where you enter is section A. To the right of section A and furthest from the entrance is section B. B1 is closest to section A, so count from there clockwise to 9 for B9. Loot the book and scoot. You don't have much time from when you enter before two goblins will spawn. If you kill the two goblins then two more will spawn immediately, so if you have problems finding the book, you have to kill one goblin and keep the other one stunned. Your bear pet won't follow you through the doorway into the library, so you'll need to summon your bear pet once you get into the library proper.
