Background
Tailors craft the normal dress worn by most free folk dwelling in Middle-earth. They are also proficient at crafting light armour. A good tailor is always a welcome addition to the Crafting Guilds.
Be careful! You will need to complete the correct recipes and deliver the correct items outlined in this quest.
You will need to execute the leather pad and rough cloak recipes and the deliver rough cloak. Failing to do so will force you to obtain new raw materials or to restart the quest after a 24-hour delay.
Objectives
Objective 1
Speak with Sara near the workbench in the crafting area
You should speak with Sara Crabgrass near the workbench in the Combre Craft Hall to learn more about tailoring.
Objective 2
Open the crate given to you by Sara Crabgrass to collect two pieces of light leather and one bolt of rough cloth
Sara Crabgrass provided you with a crate full of ingredients that you can use to execute the rough cloak recipe. Open the crate to get the ingredients.
Ingredients for Tailors are normally purchased from vendors or traded from players with the forester profession. You can also find ingredients on the Auction Hall.
Objective 3
Using the ingredients you received, craft a leather pad
Sara provided you with the ingredients necessary to create a rough cloak. First however, you must prepare the leather pad.
Objective 4
Using the ingredients you have, craft a rough cloak
The leather pad is complete, and you are now ready to create the rough cloak, as instructed by Sara.
Objective 5
Bring the rough cloak to Sara Crabgrass
The recipes are complete. Do not sale the rough cloak! It is time to show your handiwork to your mentor, Sara Crabgrass.
