The prowlers are throughout the area of Vale Thrain and easy to find. The prowlers were a bit more difficult.
To expand on the coords given in a previous post, this is where I found ONE prowler:
If you stand looking at the Hunter's Notch, just inside Vale Thrain, you will see a path on the left, leading up the hill. If you go up that path, then follow it around to the left, you will enter a higher level valley, where you will find at least one prowler. (I only found the one, and just waited till it respawned).
I found it at 17.7, 100.4 the first time, and then at 17.5, 100.4 the second time.
I found a second prowler just south of the Hunter's Notch, right off the road at 19.5, 100.6

'The lynx that roam the hills in the Vale of Thrain have become bold with hunger in recent months. There have even been reports of them attacking unwary travellers! I have the unwelcome task of dealing with these beasts, but there are too many for me to handle alone.
'Grimkell has ordered me to take care of the problem, but I could use your help. We must teach the beasts to fear the bite of metal again and keep to four-legged game.
'Head to the north, along the road back to Thorin's Hall. Look to the west side of the road, near the Thrushstones, and you will find lynx in great numbers.'

Olafr needs help dealing with the lynx's in Thrain's Vale.

Lynx can be found throughout the Vale of Thrain, but Olafr suggested heading north to the Thrushstones.
Olafr has asked you to secure the safety of the road leading through the Vale of Thrain by hunting the lynx that dwell there.
Objective 2
- Talk to Olafr
Olafr is at Noglond in Thrain's Vale, south along the road from the Thrushstones.
Olafr should be pleased to hear of your success.

They are stealthing mobs. One possible location is in Hunters Notch 19.0S,100.7W
