'The Mordor Orcs have an advantage over the Orcs of Moria that should be quickly removed. The Ghâsh-hai, the Fire-orcs in the depths of Khazad-dûm, now serve the Sorceror of Dol Guldur, which Mordor claims has come. Their forces are on the move to support the Mordor Orc-encampment and to flank the Moria Orcs.

'While it is to our benefit that Mordor and the Ghâsh-hai be allied, the battle would end far too soon were that to happen. Thus we must balance the odds.

'There are several traps we have placed along the road upon which the Ghash-hai will travel. Look near their camp to the west at Fauthûrz-ghâsh and see to it that the traps are all set.'

Objectives

Objective 1

  • Arm the traps (0/8)
    • The traps are in Zelem-melek, to the west and north of the Orc-watch. The dwarves placed them in Gabil-mamach and Budkhul-tharâkh.

    The Ghash-hai are preparing to reinforce the Mordor Orcs, but the dwarves are not ready for that to happen yet. Knakk has asked you to arm several traps they plan to use to slow the Ghash-hai's progress.

    Objective 2
  • Talk to Knakk at the Orc-watch
    • Knakk is at the Orc-watch, east of Fauthurz-ghash.

    Knakk will be pleased to hear that all the traps have been armed, and the Ghash-hai have been slowed.

    Notes

    The Ghâsh-hai have allied with the forces of Mordor and are moving to support them in the battle against the Orcs of Moria.
