This quest involves a Skirmish that can be completed at Solo, Small Fellowship, Fellowship, or Raid group sizes by using the Skirmish Join Panel. This Skirmish has a minimum level of 60.

Background

Several Elves and Rangers have been taken prisoner by a sorcerer within the ancient Elf-ruins of Dannenglor.

Objectives

Objective 1

  • Claim the lower courtyard
  • The doors of Dannenglor have been sealed. To infiltrate the ancient ruins, you will have to enter through the lower courtyard and work your way up.

    The Lower Courtyard has been cleared. The Banner may be claimed for the Free Peoples.

    The lower courtyard is yours. The Enemy will not willing leave it that way

    A counterattack has been launched against the lower courtyard!

    The counterattack has been defeated. The lower courtyard is secure. It is safe to press on.

    Objective 2

  • Claim the south entranceway
  • Claim the west bridge
  • Claim the east terrace
  • The heart of Dannenglor is a large open courtyard with a southern gate, western bridge, and eastern terrace. All three of those will need to be in your control to advance.

    The South Entranceway has been cleared. The Banner may be claimed for the Free Peoples.

  • Claim the east terrace

    The Upper Courtyard has been cleared. The Banner may be claimed for the Free Peoples.

    The East Terrance is now under your control.

    Encounter: As the courtyard falls to your control, and ancient guardian of it returns.

  • Open the upper courtyard
  • The small upper courtyard is the only thing keeping you from the sorcerer.

    The doors to the Upper Courtyard of Dannenglor creak open.

    Encounter: Spiderwebs and eggs cocoon the room ahead.

    The Upper Courtyard has been cleared. The Banner may be claimed for the Free Peoples.

    The gates to the upper courtyard and the sorcerer have opened

    Objective 6
  • Defeat the sorcerer and claim the sorcerer's chamber
  • To take Dannenglor for the Goldne Host and free its prisoners, the sorcerer residing here must be defeated and his chamber claimed.

    Encounter Update: The egg sac explodes in a puddle of goop.

    Encounter Update: Furious at the eggs being destroyed, Gothling descends from the dead limbs above.

    Encounter Complete: Gothling has fallen to your mighty blow!

    Notes

    You must destroy all 4 Egg Sacs to get Gothling to spawn. He is not needed to complete this quest however. But you do get 8 Skirmish Marks for killing him, and you loot the item Minor Token of the Alliance that can be used against the main boss, Authdurgul.
