Moria's Iron Garrison  

'Greetings! It is truly a wonder to be here in Khazad-dum, is it not? Sadly, time has not been kind, and there is much work to be done if we hope to restore the halls to their former glory. Do you wish to help in this? I speak for all of the Iron Garrison when I say your aid would be most welcome! What is the Garrison? Why it is we Longbeards who have come from the Iron Hills to reclaim Khazad-dum!

'The Garrison is made up of two parties, the Guards and the Miners. While both parties work side-by-side, they each have different interests. The Guards are mostly concerned with the foul Orcs that infest these halls, while the Miners seek to reclaim lost treasures and are watchful for threats from below.

'As you travel through Moria, you will find many relics, such as broken engravings or cracked etchings. Both the Guards and Miners greatly welcome such finds. In fact, if you were to bring me a few broken engravings, I will reward you with a relic greatly treasured by Durin's Folk!'

Bennt Sharp-eye has told you about the Iron Garrison. This company of dwarves is comprised of two parties, the Iron Garrison Guards and the Iron Garrison Miners.
