I got 2 off 'North Downs Bears' out of 40 kills. Just ride around Esteldin to Othrikar and you'll find many.

I found an Undamaged Brown-bear Corpse on a Hungry Downs-bear in Nam Almug West, North Downs

Tonight, December 22, 2007, I have been in the Fields of Fornost of the North Downs killing bears (Maddened Field-Bears and Dreadful Field-Bears). After 162 Maddened Field-Bear kills, I have collected 2 of the Undamaged Brown-Bear Corpses. After 191 Dreadful Field-Bear corpses I have collected 0 Undamaged Brown-Bear Corpses.
I will be focusing on the Maddened Field-Bears from this point onward.
