The Best Defence
As I've read, any humanoid mob 39+ has a chance of dropping this book. I know books are very rare drops, but on average how long did it take you to get this book? Last night I spent a good 3.5 hours both in Skathmur and Bail Rova killing Iron Crowns (which I'm guessing is normal), and I'm heading back there tonight to put in another 3. Just curious to hear from others what their experience is getting the books (pages are a different story).

You don't neccessarily get the books from the IC, just some of the pages after you obtain the book. The book can drop off any 39+ humanoid mob. I got the shield maiden book to drop off giants in Evendim. Best way to get a book is to buy it off the AH or trade some other books/pages that may have dropped for stuff you need.

Don't remember where I got the Shield Maidens book, but it only took about 10 hours of farming the flame worms in Western Malendad and the Orcs in Eastern Malendad to get the Shield Maiden Song pages.
