Dirty Shrew Claws are also used as a Mastery Option ingredient in making the Campfire Materials recipe.
The regular ingredients are:
3x Rowan Wood
1x Kindling Material
1x Ball of Twine
The Mastery Options ingredient is 1 Dirty Shrew Claw,
which gives +44% to crit chance (bringing it to a total of 50% crit chance).
A successfully crit gives you 2 Campfire Materials instead of the normal 1 Campfire Material.

They seem to drop from the lvl 8-9 shrews in The Shire, such as the Foraging Shrew and the Burrowing Shrew.
If ur killing shrews that drop vendor trash beginning with Dirty, ur on the right track :)
