Little Delving
Nestled in the south-west borders of the Shire lies the minute village of Little Delving. It is not more then a small residential centre; for there is no merchants, crafters or any of the kind. Perhaps it is simply an addition to Michel Delving - the chief township of the Shire - yet it may be independent as well. Regardless of which is true, the small village is beautiful with vast rivers and gorgeous waterfalls.
Little Delving is where all hobbits begin their journey after the assault on Archet: the opening tutorial for the Lord of the Rings Online. Almost immediately upon arrival, players are compelled to speak to Mundo Sacksville-Baggins - the one who the Nazgul thought to have the One Ring - and they are immediately sent to Michel Delving, the neibhouring township. That is the story of Little Delving; for it has no other use. There are a couple other quests - mail delivery and joining the bounders - and they too lead you out of the village and into Michel Delving. Yet, to its credit, Little Delving is a very beautiful corner of the Shire.Major landmarks, NPCs and other points of interest
