RoR impressions
# Nov 15 2012 at 5:59 AM Rating: Decent
hmm where to start.
the new content is cool and the auto loot rocks, i love the thing with the "loot-vault" giving 50 items place. i love the mounted combat and the auto quest add-on.
the graphics have been really tuned up from awsome to awsome and beyond.
the landscapes are just solid awsome and with the new score of music its like seeing it all for the first time again, i mean when i first encountered lotro i thought wooow, what a great setup. but after RoR im really thinking wooow, again.
im an addict to this game and i would, if possible, do almost anything to have a server at home so i could just play on and on forever, even in the distant future of 2040-something when the license is running out for the 5th time :)

greeting from Kyranduil
on Laurelin server.

The vast landscape, more attention to the lore, and mounted combat, but it wouldn't be the same at all without the music, of course. :)
Fangorn Forrest!

I personally loved Fangorn Forrest. The graphics were amazing and I loved how everything seemed to have an eerie glow. I don't understand why it has been getting so much hate!
Love the music

My favorite part is the new soundtrack. It took my breath away when I first heard some of these songs. It's great! Mounted combat is taking some work to learn, but it's a lot of fun!
Soundtrack

It's a toss-up between the soundtrack and the sunsets over the beautiful rolling, rocky plains of Rohan. Luckily, you can experience both at the same time so you don't have to choose.

The soundtrack is my favorite part, followed closely by the sights of Rohan.

I like the overflow space

I consider myself a Lotro junkie, I actually have the Mines of Moria soundtrack on my ipod as well as all 3 movie scores. The best part of Rohan for me has been the Boromir session plays. I felt like I was in the movie again. I have my mini to 85 and I feel like and indestructible healer while in mounted combat. Rohan Rocks!
LOTRO rock!!!!

One Word - Mounted Combat!!!, ...oh wait that's two. :) Well it's still awsome and a 6th bag doesn't hurt either. Get your adventure on in Middle-Earth.

Easily the new Epic Story quests. That aspect of the game really makes it worth getting to the end for me.
LOTRO RoR score
# Oct 29 2012 at 7:24 PM Rating: Decent
The soundtrack has been fantastic so far and I have come to expect nothing less from LOTRO. I even have a previous soundtrack on my MP3 player. That being said I have to say that I think the graphics for the new regions and the monsters are the best thing from RoR. The detail that has gone into everything is superb.
Mounted Combat

One of my characters in Rohan is a Burglar. Their "stealth" ability while mounted truly rocks! Burglars for the win!

The music in this xpac is one of the best of any they've put out so far, including the origional release. Close 2nd would be the mounted combat once you get use to it, along with their gorgeous rendition of Rohan.
Bag #6

The sixth bag space because I'm a pack-rat and the more the merrier :)

The music might well be my favorite aspect of the expansion. If not that, I'd say the epic quest line, or possibly the iconic places that tie the game back to Tolkien's lore: the Argonath, Amon Hen, the memorial of Eorl. Great stuff!

warband hunting
# Oct 29 2012 at 6:20 PM Rating: Decent
I really like many things in the new RoR expansion so far. My favorite feature at the moment are the enemy warbands that appear and ride across the world map. It's fun trying to hunt them down on a daily basis. And with open-tapping, it means that anyone and everyone who gets there can help chip in with everybody receiving equal loot for their effort.
