It is well known to Sacred Grove that Robgoblins are the big troublemakers, from their explosive fishing habits to their "finders-keepers" way of life. One faction that is sometimes overlooked is the Ice Troll, who are constantly threatening the well-being of the denizens of Snowhill. Today's video highlight shows how one adventurous Wizard stepped up to the task and defeated Snognosh, the mastermind behind the trouble pouring out of the Howling Hills.

On November 11, 2009, the Super Spooktacular celebrations will draw to a close. This means that all of the quests and Marketplace items for this event will disappear. Make sure you get in any last minute Trick-or-Treating and purchase the costumes and fun items that you've been waiting to get.

ZAM brings you one last look at some of the video highlights from the Super Spooktacular. Follow us through the hop to watch the Goo'd Candy minigame in action and take a walk through Pixiewood Hills' Halloween decorations! Also, if you missed Daddio's Thriller video from two weeks ago, make sure you check it out!

Last week we reported some of the new content and changes coming to Free Realms in November, including the recent change from the old free and members-only job system to Job Sampling. This week the Free Realms Community Team brings us "Job Sampling Week," which kicked off today and runs through the end of the week. Join the Community Team to meet the job trainers for these jobs that are now free to try up to level 5!

Check out the full schedule in the official post, and visit ZAM's Free Realms portal site for upcoming news, Wiki info and more.

Earlier today, Laralyn McWilliams, Creative Director of Free Realms, released an article about the upcoming November and December updates. It details many changes and additions that will roll out into the game, most of which is based upon player feedback.

Some of the upcoming content will include housing, a variety of new pets, sweeping changes to the job availablity for free-to-play accounts and an announcement of a fishing minigame. Players will get more UI options for customization and steamlining, as well as the ability to toggle on and off features such as duels or friend requests. A few of the upcoming 2010 features were announced, such as an auction house and item dyes.

Make sure you read about all of the exciting changes in full and get ready to experience a whole new Free Realms!

As the nights grow longer and the weather becomes chill, it is a stark reminder that the night of ghosts and ghoulies is upon us. Tomorrow will be the start of November, which will swiftly bring the end to the Super Spooktacular celebrations in Free Realms.

According to SOE's official news post, Super Spooktacular is scheduled to end on November 11, 2009. It is stated that at that time, all of the Halloween specific items and costumes will be removed from the Marketplace. Now is the time to act if you've still been waiting to purchase something special! The limited edition Werewolf Outfit is also still available, until the limit is met or time runs out, to those who are interested.

We at ZAM wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween, and may your bags of candy be filled to the brim!

Yesterday evening was the Halloween Dance Party, hosted by the SOE Community Team. The party ended up with a terrific turn-out, with a confirmed attendance of over 500 people. Freepers from all servers hopped over to server 1 and crammed shoulder-to-shoulder near the new Bone Bog Cemetery, dancing along to boom boxes and socializing with the Referees and the Community Team.

ZAM has set up a gallery of some of the people and moments we captured last night at the dance party. To view the gallery, click on the picture on the right. We also have two videos, which you can see after the hop.

Today's update on Free Realms brought us more Super Spooktacular costumes in the Station Cash Marketplace. Now you can choose from an even wider variety of outfits with new looks such as the Mummy, the Vampire Countess, or the Monster.

Also added to the Marketplace was the Creepy Crawly Diamond Shard, which gives your wieldable the effect of spiders crawling and dropping from it. If that's a bit too spooky for your tastes, you can try out the new Jack-O-Lantern, a pumpkin that allows you and your friends to grab miniature pumpkins to throw at one another.

The Super Spooktacular is a great celebration that allows us to flaunt our favorite styles on Free Realms. Everyone has their own unique look that can fit in with any crowd. To further the celebrations, this evening there is a dance party! For more information on the party, as well as Daddio's Free Realms homage to Thriller, follow us through the hop.

Halloween is this month and the Super Spooktacular is cranking up in Free Realms!  On the Free Realms blog Laralyn McWilliams, Creative Director, talks about a "mostly unannounced" minigame coming soon and the fantastic decorations and costumes in the game for Halloween.

Some costumes have already appeared on the Marketplace, and there's decorations in Sactuary.  Your faithful ZAM staff are on the job and bring you this event page, which will be updated as we learn more!

Word has been going around that the Limited Edition Werewolf Outfit will only be available for the first 1,000 purchases. If you're interested in this item, make sure you act while it lasts!
