Which might just be one explanation for why the left has so steadily lost political ground in the US for the last couple decades.
Huh. I thought the Right was gaining ground because it panders (successfully, I must admit) to ignorance and ignorant people naturally eat that shit up.

I think we need to check the qualifications of the eyewitness who was "absolutely positive" about his identification. Anyone who has to qualify that they're that certain is usually wrong. Like I mentioned earlier, most people who see a banana clip are going to automatically call it an AK. You'd need at least a casual familiarity of the history of Russian weaponry to make the distinction, and probably not during a shootout.

I think we need to check the qualifications of the server that repeatedly dupes posts for no reason whatsoever.

What we need is a picture of the weapon that was used. Without that the eyewitness' claim is about as valid as someone insisting how it totally couldn't possibly at all be similar except the models that are and that there are modifications that could make it look similar but totally impossible no way nuh uh.

I like to mix it u- I mean, my friend likes to mix it up.
About 3:20 into this video is pretty much what you'd expect. (the rest of the video is basically shotguns using .577 T-Rex shells)

That video takes me back. First time I fired a shotgun, I was camping with some friends and one of them brought her .22 rifle and a shotgun. I was messing with the .22, shooting cans and paper plate targets but had trouble aiming. Left-eyed, right-handed. So I was holding the gun awkwardly in my right hand and pulling the trigger with my left with the butt nearly up against my cheek. Didn't matter much for the .22 with no kick. It, uh, made more of a difference when I tried the shotgun and caught the butt in the side of my face. Good times, good times.

Reading about it now, I learn that (a) cross dominance is often associated with dyslexia -- not the case for me, and (b) cross dominant people will probably always suck at firing long guns -- definitely the case for me.

Edit: lol "butt" is blocked

Since this thread's B Plot is about how to hold weapons, here's how to tell when someone has never held one before in their lives. If he pulled the trigger the slide would tear chunks of flesh off both his hands. It's a bit amusing that the commercial that picture comes from says how the weapon is the result of "over a million rounds of testing."
