Hello all.

Every since I installed Windows 7 four days ago I have been getting random Internet Explorer (IE) pop-ups from a site called Voicefive. Also, I do have the IE pop-up blocker on.

I do not use IE to surf the net. I use Firefox with NoScript, AdBlock, and DownloadHelper. (I do use AOL's IE browser just to go to regularly visited sites, but that IE is embedded into AOL... more on that later...)

I can be sitting playing WoW and a browser pop-up window will just...uh... pop-up out of nowhere for Voicefive. I do have AOL opened, but the AOL browser does not do out-of-AOL browser windows. It still does it when AOL is off or if it is minimized... so I am almost 100% sure it is regular IE's fault. When I say "pop-up" I mean it pops up when the main external (not AOL) IE isn't open... and the browser window for the pop-up is just like a regular pop-up window... it isn't opening up the IE browser to do it. The window has no back, forward, or refresh buttons on it... just a plain window.

I have used AVG and Spybot S&D and neither one finds anything.

I have looked on Google to see if anyone else has had the problem, but the only thing I have found was a removal tool that turns out to be one of those "Yes, you have the virus, but we won't remove it unless you register." Also, the removal tool comes up as malware.

I have never had the Voicefive problem before installing Windows 7, and the only times I used IE was to download Firefox and when Windows uses it to do its thing.

Anyone have a clue about Voicefive? Any other programs/sites I should try to see if they see it?

Is there a way to go into IE and block a certain domain?

I have a couple of software suggestions for you to try, Superantispyware, And anti malware bytes.

Both can be gotten for free and do a tremendous job against malware spyware etc. Though I suggest buying the full version later on once you see what they can do to help you, it isnt required.
