'Elladan and Elrohir have entrusted me with watching over the road through the Bruinen Gorges, but my mind keeps drifting, and I cannot keep my eyes upon the road.
'There is an Elf-maiden of unsurpassed loveliness in whose company I delight, and I wish to make her a gift she will recognize as a sign of my affection for her. It must not be any passing thing, but a token of such beauty that her breath will be quite taken away -- nothing less will do!
'And yet, I am charged with watching the road. I do not wish to fail in my duty, so I would ask you a favour, since you are not so charged: search among the high places of the Bruinen Gorges for a hendroval nest and retrieve a perfect feather from it. The creatures are dirty and unwholesome, but sometimes feathers of incomparable beauty are left in their nests...undoubtedly the feathers of the hendroval's prey. I will use the feather in the crafting of my gift.'
Background
One of Elladan and Elrohir's scouts, Arrod, is torn between fulfilling his duties and trying to court an Elf-maid with whom he is smitten.
Objectives

Search hendroval nest
Hendrevail make their nests in the high places of the Bruinen Gorges.
Arrod has asked you to search the nests of the hendrevail and bring him a perfect tail-feather from one. The creatures are filthy, but sometimes the beautiful feathers of their prey are left in their nests.
Objective 2
Bring the perfect tail-feather back to Arrod
Arrod is keeping watch over the Bruinen Gorges from his vantage point near ruins over the road.
Arrod is waiting for you to return with the perfect tail-feather you collected.
