Background
Svanr, the former harbour-master of Kheledul, has brought you a down a hidden path to the gates of the city. It is now up to you to sneak into Kheledul and free Avorthal.

Avorthal is being held on the "Irestone" will carry Avorthal far from rescue and doom Ered Luin to war between the dwarves and Elves.
Objective 2
Defend Avorthal
Avorthal is being held on the "Irestone", the ship docked at the port-city of Kheledul.
Unless you free him tonight, the "Irestone" will carry Avorthal far from rescue and doom Ered Luin to war between the dwarves and Elves.
Objective 3
Talk to Avorthal
Avorthal is on the deck of the "Irestone" still docked at Kheledul.
The captain of the "Irestone" has been defeated. You should speak with Avorthal and make your escape.
Notes
All Dourhands here, summon other dwarves. Captain Volund summons 5 Dourhand Seafarer (Ally of Captain Volund), an the others summon 1-3 Murderous Dourhand (Ally of Dourhand Night-watch).
This note in the quest description is inaccurate. The dwarves that guard the stairs into/out of the water do not summon other dwarves. However, they are already in groups of 3. But I think it is good to clarify this, otherwise players in this instance might think that if they aggro those dwarves, they will wind up with all 3 dwarves summoning 2-3 friends each, which isn't the case.
