"The Angmarim use these banners to mark what they have claimed. The Iron Crown reminds all that they serve the Witch-king of Angmar, servant of the Dark Lord.

'Even when the troops are not present, those banners are a foul reminder of their occupation here. Let us send them a clear message by burning them to the ground. For today, at least, this courtyard will be ours!'

The forces of Angmar commonly use banners displaying the visage of the Iron Crown to identify their camps.
