I didn't (and even don't)think hunters had (have) stealth or shadow form or mode. Hobbits and Elves have hobbit-stealth mode and elf-shadow form. Do you mean hobbits and elves can enter stealth/shadow mode/form? Please be specific and help me find my hunter stealth/shadow if I am wrong?

He's surrounded by several lvl 28-30 elite stone trolls. Hard as nails. Take friends.

At level 30 I received the message: "you have discovered Lagorlam" (or words to that effect) plus 2338 XP and 16 silver pieces for quest completion.
There is an obvious follow-up (I assume you need to escort him out of there?) because as soon as you've completed the initial quest he gets a second gold ring above his head; but if you're a solo hunter it's more than possible to reach this point alone - I just turned and scarpered as fast as my Sylvan Shadow would allow me :P
