'Do you think you could bring me another one? I'm sorry to be a bother, but I just can't help myself! I have another half-dozen eggs to give you if you'll help me! How can you refuse that?'

Background

Ned Diggins has gone and eaten the pie crust you brought him as a replacement for the earlier crust he devoured, and now he is in a real pickle.

Bring pie crust to Ned Diggins

Ned Diggins is in Michel Delving.

Ned Diggins is waiting for you to return with a pie crust he can use to replace the one he ate that was to replace the one he ate, before his wife discovers it missing.

This quest is repeatable (but only twice) by talking to Ned Diggins (33.7s, 74.5w) and giving him a pie crust. Any apprentice cook can make the pie crust and each of the ingredients are sold by the Novice cook (34.6s, 75.6w), who is next to the Oven in Michel Delving.

Since you get 3 Chicken Eggs as a reward I only bought 1 Chicken Egg to get started and 2 each of the Coarse Flour, Lard and Water. Then I crafted the items in front of Ned, because no Facility is required, to get the eggs as a reward, then crafted another pie crust and did the second and last turn in.

    Pie crust recipe:
  • Coarse Flour (1@24c)
  • Chicken Egg (1@24c)
  • Lard (1@24c)
  • Water (1@24c)


As a level 14 I paid 168c (one egg and 2 each of the other ingredients) and recieved 3s 40c (quest reward for 2 turn ins) I earned 1s 72c and 784xp (392xp each for two turn ins).

*The Chicken Egg listed above as "Items Needed" is confusing because the quest only asks for the pie crust and the chicken egg is only one part of the necessary items.
