'One thing I know about spiders is that they typically move in broods. At the head of the brood, you're likely to find a queen -- a female that cares for, watches over, and commands the lesser spiders.

'I gather that there is a brood-matron in that hollow. Though I am not certain where, as I did not see her.

'Be wary, and if you do find her, let me know, and I will see that you are rewarded. The hollow is just beyond the river to the south...you will know it by the webs hanging from the trees.'

Background
