The quest giver suggests using the east pass and then coming to the quest location from the south. Ignore that because the south entrance is guarded by elite level mobs. Instead, go thru the NORTH entrance and fight you way down to the entrance to the tomb (already given in these comments). The mobs you will encounter are singles and not elites or signature mobs.
