"Many armouries and forges of the dwarves lie dormant in Khazad-dum, awaiting the hands of their masters. One such has been claimed by the Orcs of Moria for a training hall. If the forge is to see service again, the Orcs must be driven forth...."

Background

A disciplined war-band of Moria Orcs has taken up residence in one of the old armoury halls and is using it as a training hall in preparation for their next offensive against the dwarves. If you are to reach the old weapons forge within that hall and empower the infused garnet you carry, you shall have to win your way past the Orcs.

Objectives

Objective 1

  • Defeat Orkish recruits (0/12)
  • Use the ancient anvil

You must defeat the Orkish recruits before they are prepared to launch their offensive against the dwarves and defeat the Uruk who is overseeing their training.

Objective 2

  • Use the ancient anvil

Use the ancient forge to empower your infused garnet.

Notes

This is a Solo quest, and cannot be completed with a Fellowship.

You have 30 minutes to complete the instance. Watch the roaming Veteran. Kill the left and right guards first and then roamer, one at a time, then the 2 by the pillars (they will come together).

Next you have 2 groups of 2 patrolling back and forth. Time it carefully or you will get all 4.

The recruits you are actually here to kill are in the side rooms, 6 in each room, 4 groups of 3 all together. They are Swarm mobs so you are gonna have to fight them in groups. Watch the pathing Vigilant Taskmaster, then pull them back to the central room to kill them. After you clear a side kill the Vigilant Taskmaster. Rinse, repeat, for the other side.

Finally, pull and destroy the Battle-master. If you have left ANYTHING alive they will all add for the final fight! Behind where he was standing you will see the anvil. use it to complete the instance and gain your Empowered Garnet.

If you get killed and retreat out, heal up and re-enter! The instance does not repopulate so you do not have to re-clear it. If you fail your Infused Garnet is lost and you will have to go find another!
